Critique in our class was something that my peers and I took very seriously because the things that my peers and I were writing about we all knew were very serious and not something to joke about. We would usually pick people that we felt comfortable with and have them read over it in the beginning but by the end we just wanted as many people to read it to make sure that it sounds good and like we actually tried and made the best story that we could. Critique is something that here at high-tech we take as something to make our work better and make sure that everyone displays work they are proud of.
While critiquing we would have a protocol that we were supposed to follow, we had to read it outlaid and left our peer group discuss and ask questions while we listened and then we were allowed to respond. I felt like this was to formal to do overtime we got critique so I made sure only to do that when it was a critique day in class. While reading my story aloud was something that I didn't like because I would end up crying I would usually tough it through so that my peers would be able to understand and give me good critique. The questions that I would pose each time were different because each time I was given enough critique to be able to get it to the point that I wanted it. We would write the responses on some paper and give it to our classmate and they were also required to take notes on what was being said and read over those when we were refining our work.Under here I have some examples of the critique sheets we would fill out as the critique or the person getting critique!
