Here is the final draft with they way that I scripted and my final slideshow.

My story was scripted in a way that probably only I can understand. We were taught that we could use the scripting in any way and made sure that is was very personal to me. The people from So say we all helped all of us script and tell our story in a way that was personal to us. The way that I scripted is different than the way the way that any of my peers scripted theirs. I thought that I should make any words that I thought should be louder bolded and the ones that I should say softer with italics. I made that distinction between the two because when something is bold to me it looks more loud or angry even. But when I see italics I think of something sweet or something that should be said in a softer and sweeter voice. I put lots of pauses in between sentences and writing the word for me was more effective than just putting in the spaces. Making sure I wrote breathe at the beginning is something that calmed me down as I went up on stage. I would make sure that I would take a deep breath because other wise I would start out without being ready to say my story.
The way that I scripted my story was that I would just read my story aloud and add bolded letters or italics to any of the words that I would say a different way. I would have to be a little dramatic when first scripting it so that I could get the right words scripted a certain way. I think that without the scripting I would just go up there and tell the story but this way even though I was crying and couldn't really control the way that I was talking I still had the cues to be able to finish the story and push through to the end. I have tried to read my story without the scripting and it was hard to get through but once the scripting was there I could actually perform it. |
